Sleep early, o my son. For blessing in provision is in the morning. And I fear that the provision of al-Rahman will pass you by because you spent the night awake! - Ume Hakimah
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "Beware of suspicion, for it is the worst of false tales and don't look for the other's faults and don't spy and don't hate each other, and don't desert (cut your relations with) one another. O Allah's slaves, be brothers!" - Sahih Al Bukhari.
I am not being suspicious or looking for faults but this report is in newspaper. Is it true or what.. Please shed light on this. (I would appreciate reply from Ms Hashmi)
O my son! Beware of talking about things or people except after you are sure of the soundness of the source. And when anyone comes to you with some news, scrutinize it before you act rashly. And beware of rumors. Neither believe everything that is said nor half of what you see. And when Allah tests you with an enemy, resist him with ihsan. “Repel (the evil) with that which is better…” I swear by Allah that the enmity will turn into love—just imagine! - Ume Hakimah
very true...

ReplyDeleteImam Shafi states that there are 4 types of sleep;
ReplyDelete1.to lie on the back-this is the sleep of the Prophet's .
2. to sleep on the right side-which is the sleep of the WORSHIPPERS (us!)
3. to sleep on the left side-which is the sleep of the rulers.
4. to sleep on the stomach-which is the sleep of the devil.
I love Farhat Hashmi work. May Allah Bless her Good Health and long life.
