Know that the greatest wastage is the wastage of two things; the wastage of the heart and the wastage of time. The heart is wasted because of preference of this world over the hereafter and time is wasted because of long hopes -Ibn al-Qayyim
Mu`adh ibn Jabal quotes the Prophet, (peace and blessings be upon him): “A servant of Allah will remain standing on the Day of Resurrection until he is asked about four things: his life and how he spent it, his youth and how he used it up, his property and how he acquired and managed it and his knowledge and how he utilized it.”
Asalaamualaykum, can you please do a blog post (or lecture or however else you'd like to address it :) on the topic of the Night of Eid - Laylatul Jaazah? All of the educated and scholarly sources I've seen say that there are only false/fabricated hadith about extra worship on that night. But online, regular people spread a lot of (mis)information about the night, and I'd like to hear your take on it too. And Allaah swt knows best.
