By Allah! Hastening to the prayer is not accomplished by the feet. Indeed they were prohibited from coming to prayer without tranquility and dignity. Rather, it is about the hearts, the intention, and the submission.—Al-Ḥasan al-Baṣrī [Tafseer Ibn Katheer]
