قال سفيان بن عيينة: إِنما آيات القرآن خزائن، فإذا دخلتَ خزانةً فاجتهد أن لا تخرج منها حتى تعرف ما فيها
Sufyan b. Uyaynah said: Indeed the verses of Quran are treasure-houses. So when you enter a treasure-house, try that you do not leave it until you know what is inside it.
Quran is the best nourishment of our soul,the more we consume it,the better it tastes.

ReplyDeleteThe soul has both propensities in it: it can turn toward good and it can turn toward evil. Hence, the individual has to work to extinguish or greatly weaken the evil propensities. This is a type of struggle and, hence, it is a kind of jihad.
