ReplyDeleteAlhamdulillah this made so much sense that if heart is pleased only when people praise & we are only slaves of this praise...than heart is empty with Love of Allah ..... So forgive & forget when heart is really damaged & grieved by the people's actions.
ReplyDeleteUstazah when someone praises me, it feels like I've been slapped on the face and I've been given credit for something I never did. Cuz, surely whatever is achieved by us is purely due to the grace of Allah SWT and that He allowed and gave us the chance to be at that place at that time. It could have been any other person.
ReplyDeleteIf we've done something for gaining the love of Allah alone, definitely we would only want to be loved by Allah SWT in return. No human must come between us and Him :)
